Help with USB to RS232 converter

I'm using the Parallax USB to RS232 converter (P/N 28030) on my Prop 1 board.

It works great, but the DB-9 connector is too big for the board I'm building.

Does anyone have the schematic for this converter? So I can just mount the components on my board.

I was unable to find the schematic in the product info.

Jim,

The Propeller chip normally uses the Prop Plug, not the USB to 232 for programming. May I ask why you need RS-232 levels in your interface?

I use the Prop Plug to program and debug the Prop.

I use the USB to 232 to comm with a RobotBASIC program on the PC. I combine this with a MAX3232 chip.

The USB to 232 already has a MAX232 on it. So are you converting back to CMOS logic levels from the USB to 232? If so it would be just simpler to use the Prop Plug.

I also need the 232 levels to comm with two servo motor controllers on the board.

Here's the bottom line. I have something that works perfectly. I just want to transfer the components to my board without changing the function. I'm trying to eliminate having a separate little board.
