BlocklyProp S3 - reset to demos

When a student is done the tutorials then the S3 is passed to the next student to begin. I want new student to start with factory-default program of the 8 demos. I assume the first student program that went into EEPROM over-wrote the factory program.

This link describes a future feature to do just that:

But I don't see that block implemented in my IDE.

Is there a link to the demo program so I can open and install on EEPROM manually?

The factory firmware code is part of the open source download. Uploading it to an S3 requires a Spin programming software like the Propeller Tool.

Also, BlocklyProp will be receiving an update shortly that adds a block to restore demo programs.

The S3 can be reset to Factory Defaults through the S3 GUI, like the S1, and S2 did.

The GUI is only available to windows platforms, though.

Just as an update: BlocklyProp received its update and should now include the factory reset block under the ACTIONS > RESET block category.

OK, I did not see a mention of Mac.

Thanks for adding reset to GUI. Fantastic time saver for me.

Might be worth a note in help for that block that it has to be run as download to EEPROM. Might save some confusion for new teachers.

There is also a block under development that will do this - It is being tested on the DEMO BlocklyProp site (not the live BlocklyProp site) right now! It is used by itself and when run will reset the default demonstration program on the S3.

New block showed up on my IDE about Thur and I used it on Friday for three machines in class - works great.
