Hydra CD-ROM

Hello,
I am new to Parallax forums, so please let me introduce myself briefly.
My name is Marek. I work as a programmer. I am male, late 40-s. Live in USA, FL.
Hobbies include digital electronics, retro-computing, micro-controllers, programming.
I know about Propeller chip for years but started to play with it only recently.
I study any documentation and source code I can get my hands on.
My question is (because google didn't return satisfying answer) - can I download from somewhere the CD-ROM (zip, ISO) for Hydra Game Development system?
[Never mind, I found it :-)]
I am interested in porting Hydra games/applications to Prop-C3 board, which I purchased.
I am yet to decide if I want to make my own NES controller adapter for C3 (would have to purchase NES controllers and NES controller connectors) or just use Atari/C64 joystick (I have connectors and joysticks) in ported games.
I look forward to the fun of programming Propeller and doing projects with it. Hopefully will not have to bother you guys with silly questions too much.
I am currently working on a serial text terminal for my MOS-6502 based homebrew retro computer using QuickStart and Human Interface boards.
Propeller makes sense for this project due to awesome I/O capabilities (video, keyboard, serial comm.).
Thank you.

Vítejte!
Not from Czech, but close - Poland.
To come to think of it, I have never traveled to Czech Republic, even though I lived in southern Poland for 30 years.
I have gone to Slovakia on vacation once in 1998 or 1999.
But here in the Parallax forums we can drop our nationality and talk universal geek/science language, shall we :-)

yes we shall and we will! :-)
I have (besides other Prop Boards) also a C3. A brilliant piece of hardware, but sadly quite complicated to use with most of the standard software objects you find in the forum or the OBEX (Object Exchange from Parallax)
The main problem you will stumble over is the multi-used SPI bus. In itself a nice concept, toggling a pin to select one of the connected devices, but none of the 'standard' drivers do that.
There is (was?) some download area at the Parallax FTP server providing a bunch of drivers changed to use the C3, but they may be by now quite outdated. So to use a new FSRW SD driver or Kye's newest Fat_Engine you will need to add the support for the SPI-switching from the old to the new drivers.
Sadly you can not search the Parallax forum for 'C3' because the forum software needs at least 3 characters.
Maybe someone who has a link to the C3 FTP-Archive can post it here, I do not have it anymore. Besides some basic drivers for all SPI attached devices there where even some demo-programs and games(?) as far as I remember.
My C3 is sadly just collecting dust, I just use other Propeller boards, can reuse code on any of them, but not the C3...
Enjoy!
Mike
I have not had the time to test them.
You are in luck, here is the FTP link: ftp://ftp.propeller-chip.com/PropC3

Hey Mike,
I meant to comment on this before. The new Forum software will allow 2 character searches.

Looks like he has the C3Snapse in stock also:

Does someone know how many Synapse users are out there?
Is there a secret Synapse community somewhere?
I might use it again as soon someone convinces me that PropGCC and XMM have a future.
Currently I won't bet on any part of that duo.
:-(
I think I have one thats been gathering dust for quite a while. If you're interested let me know. I have no use for it. It's the complete kit with case as I recall. Only fired up a couple times. Never found a good use for it.
