Stingray-Style Rubber OmniWheel
We all loved Stingray's rear omniwheel, which looked much cooler than caster (right Ttailspin?). All plastic, low friction, unpowered, right application.
I just saw these omniwheels on Ebay. They have a similar look, but the rollers are rubber and they show a photo of a robot using eight of them as drive wheels. I have some doubts about how well they work, especially when the roller axles are at 45 degrees to the ground and they are expected to roll freely. So I'll pass, but if someone wants to try 'em, go for it! ~1.9" diameter, four for $18.88 shipped.
