Project description in propeller instruction books.

Where can I read about the projects in all the propeller instruction books? I am getting to the point where I need to like a project before getting involved.

  • I believe you might need to provide more information before anyone can assist you.

Which language are you programming in, and which books are you referring to? Ones published by Parallax or by others?

just having a look into OBEX might give you some ideas of interresting projects ddone with Propeller
  • Thanks Courtney, and MJB. The only language I am familiar with right now is PBasic. Interested in ones published by Parallax.
MJB what is OBEX, I have no idea what that is or how to look it up? Thanks.

OBEX is a code repository for Spin-language objects and projects, you will not likely find PBASIC there.

Parallax PBASIC-language books still in print are all available on parallax.com as free PDF downloads. Click on the product page and scroll to Downloads & Documentation.

There are several PBASIC projects on Learn not found in texts, visit the Projects section of Learn to view them.

If you are looking for projects created by forum users or posted on the forums by Parallax staff, try using the forum search bar and use search terms like "stamps in class" "PBASIC" "Board of Education" "HomeWork Board" or "Boe-Bot".
  • If you want to learn about propellor, take a look at the education kit. If you actually do all the activities, you will learn a whole lot about programming in spin. Then you can go on to do projects.
