It kind of depends on your application. What is it you actually need to do?
The newskool generation understands dub. It wobbles more. They have less De-bouncing with their 'tranistor'.
They probably just need a harder bias 'resister' on their gate.

The collector value would be based on your voltage, which you did not provide.

Did she have the capacity? Could she be induced? Or was she purely resistive?
