That said, it is a magnetic compass module and requires calibration for the best directional accuracy. Moreover, and like any magnetic compass, it can be affected by nearby magnetic fields and ferrous-metal objects. But as magnetic compasses go, you won't find anything better -- and certainly not for the money.
