Two Digitalker Chipsets. What to do?

Hi there!

Once upon a time, I wired up a Digitalker chipset on a breadboard. It didn't turn out super well and I haven't touched them since. I have the schematics lying around somewhere (with an important addendum about a required logic gate or something), but I've also found a good schematic for the "Standard Vocabulary Kit" online.

Here are the two chipsets I have.

I have plenty of breadboards, a few stripboards, and a decent stock of components. The problem is that I have no examples of how others have wired their synthesizers. I have seen that one video on YouTube where a gentleman wired up a digitalker to work in a custom box, but I haven't been able to contact him with questions. My question is, what would be the best way to wire these up?

Thanks for the replies.

I've seen the 1288 document before. If I only have the SSR1 and SSR2 romchips, could the pcb still be used?
