$79 Win7 Netbook Today

Decent price on a Dell refurb which looks a lot like my Acer Aspire, same specs. I recall some netbook fans (where's Loopy?) and certainly some Win7 fans here. The limiter is that it must be purchased and picked up today at Fry's. Not sure if the promo code emailed to me can be used more than once, so first come first served.

This weekend the local Office Depot had a win10 tablet/keyboard combo that looked temptingly nice, full USB on the keyboard, HDMI, the keyboard well made, for $69. If I didn't already have so many tablets I'd have snapped it up.

$59, tiny 7" screen, no memory and very bad reviews. Apparently they gave these away in a previous promotion and people still hated them. Hurry, there's a 20 pcs per customer limit!

Pros: Windows 10.
Small form factor.
Rear and front cameras.
In other words, the Pros are literally the industry standards for everyone else.

Cons: Cheaply made.
Plastic EVERYTHING(even the screen)
The screen is so bad, that there is literally an air bubble between the plastic and the Ultra Low Definition LCD panel. How does this pass QA? (It literally had a sticker on it that said it PASSED THEIR QA INSPECTION. Bright green. Hell to peel off.)
Not to mention that the screen, when viewed from straight on, looks as if you're viewing from a 45 degree angle.
This wouldn't be so noticeable if the viewing angles hadn't won the Worst in Class award for ten years running.
When viewed from the front, the whole screen is warped, shimmering, and black. GG.
Oh, also, the calibration is off. Typing is nigh impossible, and if you try do to anything with radio buttons(such as the option to display my name at the end of this review) you have a better chance of actually hitting an indigenous Rhino with an air rifle.

Other Thoughts: All in all? It came for free with the tower I bought. I was planning to use it to video chat with my girlfriend who is in Sweden until next year for school, since I moved over to desktop tower from laptop. Sadly, I will be doing no such thing. For her to see me, I have to point it at my face. For me to see her, I have to point it over my shoulder. I actually feel violated for receiving this. As if they GAVE it to me for a reason.

Reason being they hate me and needed to get rid of it.
