Plan 9 OS

With summer boredom setting in, I thought I would try to find a completely new OS, not another *nix, Linux, or Windows. And I came across Plan 9, best part is that you can run it on a Raspberry Pi.
Since I had a Raspberry Pi 2, basically doing nothing, that is now running Plan 9. I am not sure what the kernel/system size is, but it seems to be running comfortably on the Pi, and I must say it is very responsive, not dog slow like Linux. Maybe it could be ported to the P2 when it becomes available?
Since I just started investigating this, I am not even sure if I will like it. One thing that I noticed, with this OS, you can basically start with a blank screen, I think you use the right button on your mouse to create a window size of your choice, when you release the button, it is your terminal window, and you can go from there. Just a reminder, you do need a three button mouse, I started with a Logitech Track Ball, did not like that at all. Of course you will also require a keyboard.
Plan 9 is open source, I tried to find the source but I got distracted by other things, like reading the intro papers. Has anybody else had any experience with Plan 9?

Are "one of the worst films ever made" and "cult classic" not synonymous?
For example "Eraser Head"
Interesting. Video blocked in the US.
In Canada as well
