Any experiences with Maxbotix sensors?

Curious if anyone here has messed with these in comparison to the Ping sensor. Are they more accurate? Any pluses or minuses?

    I used a Maxbotix sensor with my Scribbler 2. The Ping sensor doesn't easily work with the S2.

    The Maxbotix sensor is much better than the cheap ebay sensor but the accuracy and precision is comparable to a Ping sensor. The Maxbotix sensor has multiple interface options which makes it more useful than a Ping for some applications.
