Hi guys,
I wanted to share something with you that I've been working on for the past semester.
http://www.lamestation.com/code/snake
This is the student edition of Snake, the first ever course unit for LameStation. I've been working with a middle school teacher and her students for the past few weeks to try to identify how LameStation could fit into a classroom, and this is the result, a proof-of-concept system for building LameStation tutorials.
- I can produce both web and PDF versions of the documentation so teachers can print it if they need to
- I can also produce a teacher's edition, which is built from the same source but includes all the answers
- There's a Spin block highlighter built-in so it's easier to read and write Spin tutorials
- It's deployed through GitBook so changes can be immediately distributed to the user
I'm looking to take the work I've done on this project and turn it into a generic deployment step, so that I can use it for all the tutorials. There's a lot more fun things I can add to it, but this is a great starting point.
What do you guys think? =P
