Yes two generations. The first generation, Propeller 1 has been on the market for years.
The second generation, Propeller 2, much faster, much more RAM, twice as many cores and many other good features has been under development for years. Hopefully it will be on the market within a year.
In the mean time there are FPGA configurations available of the P2 design, if you are into such things.

The Propeller 2 sounds like a real powerhouse!
I'm just beginning with the Prop 1, the additional power of the Prop 2 is good incentive to continue.
