Toddler vs Bigfoot
According to http://davidbuckley.net/DB/BigFoot.htm, BigFoot :
-was the first two servo-motor Biped Walking Robot in the world;
-was the first Biped Walking Robot to be sold as a kit;
-was the first Biped Walking Robot which didn't use 'overlapping feet' (as is common in toys) to be commercialy available as a production item;
-and was the first commercialy available Biped Walking Robot which was able to step and turn.
BIG TALK from BIG FOOT! I thought Toddler came first. Am I completely delusional?
Maybe he answers my question with:: BigFoot has been the inspiration for many variants, see www.davidbuckley.net/DB/Inspire.htm
including Parallax's Toddler and Penguin, which in turn led to my Amblers.

Recognitions
Although Parallax designed the Toddler, we recognize that the first time we have seen the two-servo
concept employed for a walking robot is British robotics designer David Buckley’s “Big Foot”. Though the basic
concept is simple, our research shows that Mr. Buckley created the ingenious use of two servos for a walker.
Big Foot is a plywood kit available through Milford Instruments (www.milinst.com) of the United Kingdom.
David Buckley endorses the Parallax Toddler robot and contributed to the Toddler design.
I'll add the plywood(!) Big Foot to my Bucket list of Must-Gets, right under Toddler.
Blue or Gold?
I'll chip in $5 or $10 if we all want to get together and buy it for erco's birthday (or as a thank-you for all the deals he has found us)
I like this idea. I'll chip in $10.
We're up to $20.....
Pubs, you in?
Andy, how much are you looking for?
Or I might just take the cash. I just met my new best friend (or long lost brother) in LA today. He has everything I want, and much of it is for sale on Ebay. Lookie lookie.

Twin sons from different mothers!!
You *NEED* some airship parts!!
I'm in for $10!
A Hindenberg girder, corvair parts, a pyro-enthusiast.....that's potential for a viral video!!
A couple weeks ago I considered purchasing redzeppelin dot com. Apparently redzeppelin is considered a "Premium" name and was selling for $3,500.
I'm decided to switch to zeppelin.red (which leads to my WordPress place holder site).
I had never seen a "dot red" site before.
I have a feeling a red Zeppelin (RC/robotic) is in my future.
@Duane: I've had "Red Zeppelin" wine, which may be a discontinued label. Maybe that's why it's up for grabs. "The Emperor has No Nose!" was their weird slogan on the label.

No Toddler for me... Waaaaaahhhhhhhh....
Life is so unfair. My life is so difficult. I just can't go on. Goodbye cruel world.
Good, then we have until November for my brother Scorpio.
I can copy them there, but it is easier to keep it here.
EDIT: Why not start a new thread and reference this one?
