    I also have a sub on the way... And probably another EMIC 2... Hopefully I'll save a lot of money on car insurance.

    My original EMIC 2 is still in great shape, I used to overdrive the audio output frequently. It's a rock solid device and I've had a lot of fun with it.

    Just bought the last 2, the price was too good to pass up. I also purchased one of the "Intro to Sensors Sampler Packs" for $30 + $6.45 shipping from the same seller. They still have a number of them left...

    Bummer, too late to get in on it. What a deal, maybe another will come up sometime. But I did get one of those sensor packs at least!

    My emic2 came and I got it working with my Arduino, but I could not get the BS2 sample to work. I noticed that the BS2 sample does not check the return status from the emc2, so debugging it is hard.

    Anyone get the bs2 sample working?

    I've used the BS2 sample, not recently. You have the correct pin assignment?

    I was using the correct pin assignment, but after sleeping on it, I have an idea. The board I am using has 4.7k pull ups in sockets around the BS2. That might mess with the serial protocol.

    It's been a while, but I had the Emic working with a BS2 per the example, so likely a connection issue as you have surmised.

    Confirming that the BS2 code at https://www.parallax.com/sites/default/files/downloads/30016-Emic-2-BASIC-Stamp-Example-Code-v1.1.bs2 worked perfectly the first time tonight. How didja make out, Martin_H?

    I haven't had a chance to retry with the BS2, but I am pretty sure it's the pull ups.
