The colorful hopping biped is quite nimble, and holds his own against the black hexapod spider, which also rolls on wheels for a quick getaway.

    Agreed, those are some fun bots.

    I'd love to know what sort of servos some of those bots used. They had some pretty good speed.

    Those wheels on the hexapod were great! Very interesting idea.

    Marginally related, check the CGI tripod bots in this movie at 2:27. Interesting, but it's gotta be a rough ride with one rear leg.

    I got the impression those funky walkers were autonomous. You'd think a species with six limbs would favor hexapod walkers rather than tripods.

    Those tripod walkers sure didn't look very practical.

    I like the one that looked like BoZo, if I could get that in kit form, maybe.
    There is a jeweler in the family but, i'm not prepared for the intracate work needed to make a robot that atentive on this scale, it looked like remote control, with some one button moves in there. I guess I liked his attitude.
