    Well, I like Cynthia, so I hope this does well for her, even if I can't stand it when people (or robots) say, "my bad."

    Depends on the lawyers. Jibo is clearly inspired by Eve from WALL-E. Not that it's a bad thing, or that they hide the resemblance, or that the similarities haven't been noted in countless news articles and blogs. But we're talking about one of the most litigious companies this side of the galaxy, so hopefully, some kind of arrangement has already been made.

    I think its Eve-ism is also a nice testament to the film makers, who -- in the creation of this terrific movie -- naturally captured the essence of what it takes to create a positive machine-human interaction. That's Cynthia's specialty, and of any commercial robot to date, I'm sure Jibo will do the best job of it.
