We will be in the UK from 25th April to 25th May visiting our daughter and family in Guildford.

If any UK Propheads would like to get together somewhere (EU also but might be a bit $$) please let me know here.

  • That would be a great opportunity to talk in-depth about your Prop developments. Pretty certain that I will standardize on your P8XBlade2 if I ever make progress on my end.

However, time is always a problem for me as I work ALL the time. I don't even go along with the seemingly never-ending holidays in the UK (I have a US mentality).

Coley lives less than 3 miles from me and he and I keep talking about hooking-up for a pint & Prop-talk session but before you know it, months/years fly by...LOL.
  • Cluso99, it's a shame you weren't around a week earlier as Maker Faire UK is on 23/24th April in Newcastle.

I've meet up with Coley, Baggers and Leon at previous faires
  • And later in the year there is EMFcamp nearby Guildford too!

That might be a good opportunity for a UK meetup anyway.

    "good beer".... LOL

That'll soften the blow when I tell her that this might be this year's vacation

Hey Craig, yeah we should meet up soon mate, most of my time is being spent in and around the London area at the moment so spare time is all too precious, never been as busy but need to have some down time too.

I'd be up for a UK meetup if we can get a few people interested, would be nice to finally put faces to the names.

    Regards,
    Coley

IIRC, You were boarding a train for London, with your fellow Directors, the last time we met. That evening, on my way home, I had a quick pint in the station bar. I couldn't understand why so many people, sat around the place, appeared to be staring and pointing in my direction. Turns out I was stood right next to Paolo Nutini at the bar...LOL. I'd never heard of the guy and had to Google him.
