433Mhz tx rx

Hi All,
Presently, I am have some issue with a tx and rx wireless. I am using Quick Start - Propeller. For this project, I am tx on pin and receiving on another pin. Just to test the software, if I jumper the two pins together - the correct characters appear on PST. When I try to connect through tx and rx - errors. I have both tx and rx on regulated power. Has anyone had success with these units?
I would appreciate any assistance.

    Welcome to the forum!

As Leon said, more information is needed.

    Part Number?
5 volt or 3 volt units?
    What baud rate?
  • FS1000A 433Mhz tx working voltage 3v-12V, rx working 5.0VDC
    4800 baud

The propeller chip is a 3.3 Volt device. You need to put a 3.3K resistor from the transmitter to the input pin on the QuickStart. Better to just run the TX and RX at 3.3 Volts direct.

Can you include your code, and maybe a pic of you connections?

  • I suspected that, I will test it this evening.
  • Does anyone have any experience storing data. Moving data from sensor to a memory. Does anyone have code example??
