Propeller-based keyer in QST April '16

Just got my copy of the April 2016 QST magazine and found an article on The PropKeyer IV by Larry Coyle, K1QW. It uses a Propeller Project Board as the heart of a multimode keyer including sidetone generation. There's even a PS/2 socket presumably for a keyboard. Nice job Larry!

Interesting use for a prop.

Do you know if the QST article will be available on the net? I would love to read it. Never got around to getting my morse ticket and now it's no longer required. Finally let my license lapse a couple of years ago. ( ex VK2ZTZ )

There's an on-line version of QST, but it's a membership benefit. I don't know what provisions there are for purchase of a single article or issue. Check their website here.

The article is quite interesting, with a touch of history too.
The prop can generate nice audio quite simply, and the keyboard buffer could be increased too. Lots of simple improvements possible, including receiving???
