in BASIC Stamp
Hello out there, anybody still use the Flashfly system? or DID use it?
If so, can you give any suggestions on some trouble I'm having? I can't get code to transmit to my Basic Stamp. The hardware seems to be fine - I've got 3 different Flashfly modules and I get the same issue. I also don't get "Yes" on Echo or Loopback.
Here's the weird thing: About once every 40 attempts I will get "Yes" on Echo. And once per 50 times, I do get the code to transmit from my Stamp editor to the board. But at this point, I don't even know anymore if I'm imagining the code transfers or not. Usual error is "No Basic Stamps found"
I called Parallax and one suggestion from Chris was to check my profile and firmware. Maybe it's possible the profile I have from (I actually found a profile still on Parallaxs website) is only good with the old firmware version. I've tried various firmware versions but still no luck.
I'm using XBee S1s.
Any advice would be appreciated, except for throwing the Flashfly system in the trash, which after about 4 hours troubleshooting this now, I've considered doing that!
