Does anyone knows how to create a 2 KHz tone soundwave with a 555 timer circuit?? Which components are needed.

Nick: The venerable and ubiquitous 555 was around long before the internet (1971) but Google's your friend here. A little effort shows 1,370,000 hits on "555 timer circuits". You don't Bob to have all the fun on your project, do you?
