  • Also look for a re-broadcast of "Rise of the Drones", missed that one.

Pretty sure I've watched "robots" before but all I see at both those sites is a quick splash screen then white. Nothing plays.

Is the NSA finally filtering my viewing?
  • I have the same problem.

There was a previous production called "Nova Science Now, What Will The Future Be Like" that delt with robotics, this is supposed to be new. Not sure why you can't see it.

    I have the same problem.

That confirms it, Keith. NSA's on to both of us. :)

  • Maybe it's not so new of a production, still worth watching for anyone who missed it , like me.

    Uhh @Erco, I hope not.

Too much deals with china? Suspicious Emails to foreign countries? Flame throwing robots? And then those twins, being able to drive already.

Tons of electronic gadgets, some never used - very suspicious.

And the guy has fun also ... more suspicious.

    Enjoy!

For all those reasons and more, I was assuming that erco is our NSA Surveillant... That would be cool.
Of course that would make "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" all that much more interesting.
I mean, the person that watches erco, would probably need some serious watching too... I wonder what their Robot does? :)

  • Rise of the robots is a Nova production which will be aired Feb 24, 2016 at 9:00PM(?), a PBS Nova program. Rise of the drones was aired back in 2013, so you would have to dig for that one.

  • Looks like a double feature starting @ 9 pm locally.

    * NovaRise of the Robots,
Advanced humanoid robots adapt to human needs, battle real-world challenges and become part of everyday life.

    * The Human Face of Big Data,
The promise and peril of the knowledge revolution.
  • Well done and worth owning, Atlas is awesome.
