Creepy maybe, discusting definitely, I have come across them a number of times living in the city, but this video had more than its share, just to get a point across. Not sure if it helps or hurts.
It's to bad we couldn't get a closer look at these robots before the pieces went flying. And with all that containment, there isn't a chance for the spectators to catch a souvenir.
Wonder if they need someone to help clean up after these events, love those salvageable parts.
Certainly an odd combination of design, driving skill and pure luck in those Robot Wars. Who draws first blood with a sizeable impact or flip can make all the difference. The ultimate winner of that match was surprisingly tall and boxy. Seems like low wedges generally do well in these matches if driven properly.
Not a single battery fire or explosion in the lot!

Saw some in a big city and I will admit I was amazed at how fast they were.
Which adds to the creepiness.
And I've owned reptiles, fish, scorpions, etc. I'm not squeamish.
