Where are the Quickstart electrolytic caps?

I've had five Q44 chips in a drawer for several years and I wanted to use them so I bought a couple Schmartboard modules to learn a little about smt soldering.
I use Quickstart boards all the time and never noticed. The Schmartboard module has four of them.

If you are looking for the caps at power, those are just 100nF ceramic capacitors placed on each side of the chip
  • As best as I can tell from the schematic and the board, the Quickstart has no on-board electrolytics. There are two large, relatively speaking, SMD caps near the regulator just above the USB port that are 10 uF each
  • ErNa and Hal Albach, thanks. I see them now. Parallax has done an amazing job with the Quickstart.
  • Yup, large-valued multilayer ceramic caps are often cheaper and smaller than electrolytics, and they last longer. Plus they tend to have lower ESR. I use them in lieu of electrolytics whenever I can get by with it, assuming they'll play nice with whatever regulator I'm using.
