Converting song to sumobot speaker BASIC STAMP

Hello, everyone.
I'm trying to get my sumobot to play a specific song, but I'm not good with musical notes.

Is there a converter out there that could but these in basic STAMP? I'm clueless on the musical notes to frequency

Agreed, it's hard work. Not sure if anyone has time to do the whole job for you. Have you started?

BS2's will be here a while longer. I think it would help revitalize them if there were some new GUI apps/routine/wizards that would generate code for ringtones, IR comms, PWM, etc as others have done.

It might be as easy as digitally sampling a song or whistling to generate code. Heater could dust off his FFT and run with it.

Thanks for the reply mate, but I have to write the frequencies out (school project). Besides my speaker and all my supplies are at school. I'll get started now, but I have to find the right frequency for the right note (that and learn how to read sheet music). So there is a first for everything eh?? x-x
