crystal?

I bought a new parallax core yet i havent got a second crystal. I know it wont run, but i have tried two different crystals 4 and 8 mhz. any ideas how i can bypass the crystal or what i can do? Cant buy the one from parallax, it costs 40$ to ship it to Greece. (bought the core from UK.)

Crystal must meet criteria on page 14 of the data sheet:

You can use RCFAST or RCSLOW also found on page 14 to use the chip without a crystal.

If you have an oscillator, most any frequency up to 5 MHz, you can inject it into XI. Just be sure to limit it to 3.3V.

Am I missing something... Why do you require a second crystal? Or did you just buy a propeller chip?
What frequency do you want (presume you want an HC49US)?
