I am looking to give away an Apple GS2 with the following accessories:
Apple GS2
Applied Engineeing GS-RAM Board (1/4 populated)
XEBEB Board. I believe this drove an external Seagate ST225 Hard Drive which I may a I thrown out, (DOH).
Applied Engineering PC Transporter http://ae.applearchives.com/all_apple_iis/pc_transporter/
Applied Engineering ColorSwitch Board
Apple 3.5 Inch Floppy Drive
Kensington System Saver IIGS2

As is. I do not have a monitor to see if it boots up, but I can hear a beep when powered up.

Only people that have a need for the items, not to sell them on ebay, hey I could do that, but I wanted to put the out to forum members that could use them.

Shipping cost the responsibility of the recipient. Send a zip code , and I will calculate.

  • I am assuming you mean Apple IIGS or 2GS?
Those sequences are more likely to be found by someone searching for one.

    Thanks Rick! Title changed.

  • I would love this machine. Do you have a want list? Maybe I've got something to give in return!

Maybe you have an extra SGI on order also:

  • Sadly, no IRIX for me. :) Honestly, SGI machines are awesome, especially the big iron ones. Running those hard in the late 90's was a little like computing from the future in so many ways.

There is a video output on the GS that has gone unused. It's a "][ compatable signal", but not brought out to a circuit. The likely result is a GS will output the same video the 8 bit machines do, but... one does wonder what that signal looks like when the additional modes are selected. It's on my "to do" list now. :)

Congratulations are in order, I suppose. I'd have died for this way back when I was the go-to at my high school for Apple programming stuff in the mid 80's.

    YAY! @potatohead
