Not sure if it has been posted before but this seems a great alternative to Diptrace, Eagle etc and it works with Windows 10 :)

  • Interesting they demonstrated the autorouting feature with a third party autorouter that will cost you more money over 250 pins.

    I have never used autorouting, so $99 looks fine to me.

    Not sure of any other restrictions though.

    However, the recent bug fixes give the impression this is a wip package.

    I had thought if I was going to change from my very old, but licensed, Protel Advanced PCB & Schematic (windows circa 1994-5), I would go to the freebie KiCad.

    What I would like most, is a 3D view of my boards. Everything I look at seems to have issues or is too complex.

    BTW Protel started with Autotrax in the 80's s I wondered if there is any relationship here????

    Now known as Altium.
  • Havnt tried it just came across it and wondered if anyone had used it?
    Noticed they mention simulation but I cant find anything about that on the website.
