I found a spin tutorial, but for some reason I cannot find it again, the code is located in the Propeller tool V1.3.2 under spin tutorial/exercise 02-1 etc., but for some reason I cannot locate the actual tutorial.
All I can find under spin tutorial on the learn page is the stuff from Jon Titus which looks more like a basic electronics tutorial.
In the tutorial it would explain what the code was doing and there was an icon that would load that code into the propeller tool.
I have looked into everything in the tool itself buy no go.
Thanks

Very nice find! Book marked.
Yes, it sounds familiar.
I zipped up some tutorials I have on my hard drive which sounds like they could be the ones you're looking for. Here's the link to the file in my Dropbox.
I think Exercise 7-01 looks like it could be the example you're looking for (but I'm not sure).
If those aren't the files you're looking for, let us know. I think there are other places I could look for them.
I've listed some links to various Spin tutorials here.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallax Inc\Propeller Tool v1.3.2\Examples\Help\Spin Tutorial
Is that what you are looking for?
Somehow the link in the Propellertool Help menu is missing
But you can find it in the DropDown left side under Help Examples.
Enjoy!
Mike
Do you mean the Propeller Programming Tutorial that was part of the first Propeller Manual?
Found it here!

Phil,
Nice find!
msrobots, I left that machine at the office so I will not be able to look until the AM
But I am sure this will be resolved, man all of you folks have been so helpful
Now that we know what Spin files you're talking about, I doubt it will take long to track down the tutorials.
Genetix found it. It's the first Propeller Manual.
Here's another download option (my Dropbox again).

Boy, that's a blast from the past! That's in the front of my Propellor three ring binder.
That would be me. BTW, I am more of a hardware guy than a programmer, but I can hum the tune.
Thanks
