No, you silly boys. Staged as in the "customers" were also actors and in on the gag. In real life, some dork would interrupt the whole thing.

I seem to remember some Walmart commercials, which ran around Christmas time some years back, that this video is very similar to.

That audience looked genuinely surprised and entertained. Have to look again, did each register have it's own note, I don't think individual products had anything to do with it. You should get more for your money.
