I just ran across this and am wondering if anyone has tried it.

It seems to boot Linux from an SDcard.
I now see another one mentioned, GNURoot

It could be fun to try but Android has such a nice UI for tablets and Windows has a kind of OK UI for tablets but I haven't seen a Linux UI for tablets so I'm not sure what you end up with having Linux on your tablet and having to use the UI and NOT a Bluetooth keyboard.
Build a machine that runs Linux. Cripple it with Java and some weird GUI on top. Then try and run Linux beside the Linux/Java frankenthing...sorry...Android.
No idea what I would use it for. Any suggestions?
Now, if I could take my Samsung Android phone. Hook it up to an HDMI screen and commune with it via a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Whilst it runs Debian with KDE and has internet connectivity via 3G that might be a useful thing.
Can it do that?
I dunno. Maybe you should try and get back to us.
