Crawler Kit legs become loose very quickly

I've got the Crawler Kit and everything works fine except the screws on the legs become loose and nearly fall out after very short periods of use (30 seconds - 1 minute). The assembly instructions for the kit say "Tighten until each leg can slide freely but is not sloppy". Did I do something wrong, or is this typical? Would some loctite help holding the screws in place?

    If you secured the leg joints with the included nylon-insert lock nuts, the screws should not come loose. Did you use those nuts in the proper places?
