get the electret mic working with C on demo board

hello

i'm new to the demo board and this chip and i'm tryng to use and understand how the mic work.
i would have guess that there will be some already made ADC funnctions but couldnt find them ( if there is any).
Igot from the schematics that the mic is connected to pin 8 wich is a basic I/O pin right ?
right now i just want to be able to read the data coming from the mic bu i cant figure out how.

I'm working with the demo board and in C not ASM.

I purchased a PropBOE from Parallax about a year ago, and never could get the sigma-delta circuit to work, even after touching up what looked like a cold solder at the mic socket. It Is my understanding that it only works with surface mount devices positioned as close to the prop pin as possible.

well i found an example working fine but in asm..

ok so in fact it doesnt have any analog pins right ?
