How Many Can See Activity Heading?

In the upper left area next to "Discussions"?

Comments

  • I can't see it on any of the main pages, but if I click on your user name there is an "Activity" link there. Just like in Heater's picture attachment in the other thread.

  • Same here.
  • Yea Rick, We are 50% there. We need to get rid of the Activity in the users icon. I have no control, just report to the mother ship.
  • No Activity Heading except as Rick has indicated.
  • If I click on the main "Parallax Forum Logo" - I see it as a menu item across the top sand I see it as a category down the side.

If I click on "Discussions" or "Recent Discussions" - I see it in the same two places (top and side)

If I click on a User, I see a big box to post activity on their wall and then the little box in the right to send a private message.

...and last but not least, if I click on "Activity", I am taken to the wall with its wonderful mix of public and inadvertently private messages.....

As Pink learned long ago....."tear down the wall" :)

Strange, I tried all the things mindrobots listed and cannot get Activity to show up anywhere except under user. I tried with Microsoft Edge, Chrome, and Firefox.

    Chrome on Debian Jessie.

"Activity" is loud and clear on the main pages (without hitting "heater")

OK. Clear browser caches gets rid of it. Phew!
  • Microsoft "Edge"???? Oh, is that what its called now?

First report was with Firefox.....just tried with Chrome, same results.

    I'm special!!!

("hitting heater" seem a bit drastic but if it heals the cause.......)
  • See, I have pictures!!! Activity abounds!!!

    That's what I was thinking.
  • On Chrome, I was able to get rid of it by clearing "Cookies and Other Site Data" and "Cached Images and Files".

On Firefox, I tried clearing everything EXCEPT "Browsing and Download History" and it persists - I don't want to click *that* box on my main PC, so it will need to wait until I'm one something with an expendable history.

Ah, sorry, when I cleared my browser cache it logged me out. So of course there was no "Activity".
Now that I'm logged back in it see it's back again.

Or something very weird is going on.
  • Pub - I see no "Activity" heading using Firefox v41.0.2.
  • Thanks Guys. We have some other issues that need to be addressed next week when Parallax people are back on line.

(Not like us; we are 24/7) :)

Which is odd because "Activity" is still there on my Firefox v41.0.2 here on Debian. Even after clearing all history and logging back in.

It may be because you are part of GCC Developer, Propeller C - EDU Group.

    Hmm...maybe, I guess.

I'd better do some GCC developing or something then :)
