Well, some of the engineers appear to be Russian. Looks like they'll fund, but there's a lot of competition (and noise) in the educational/introductory/modular/disruptive robot market. The cheapest buy-in remaining is $149.

    The beginning of their video showing the Lego brick pass by as the year changed seemed like more than misleading. No mention of MindStorm, NXT or the other many robot systems compatible with Lego bricks. The introduction alone made me distrust the company.

    I think there are places where these sorts of robot kits are useful but it this is far from the first such kit.
