Back in Spring (2015), it was said that a big gathering would happen to celebrate the Prop 2 release. Is this "gathering" still happening? What is planned for show & tell? Will resumes be accepted? What kind of food will be available? Alcohol allowed?

So maybe a Spring Fling?
Based on the results of our last FPGA adventure, a lot of basic work needs to get done before the real chip arrives. A gathering would improve that effort, IMHO.
Can we make it a webinar??
*I was going to say debug-a-thon but I wanted to stay positive!!
Fall is kind of a busy time for a lot of folks, with travelling to see family for various holidays.

Will it be a 1 or 2 day event? Tech showcases? Food? Booze?
I just went once there to the 'propeller mecca' but booze seems not in the picture. Food on the other hand is sort of special. Besides making Chips, @Chip makes Chips also! Tortilla Chips to be more precise. Versatile as he is, he build some sort of tortilla manufacturing line. There is some thread about it.
So food you will get (and remember) but booze - hmm - seems not. The Staybridge(?) Hotel I stayed in had the bar closed but a small walk away was some mall with some bars. So not too bad.
As I was there it was a two day event and full of fun. Some forum vendors had small tables, a lot of other members did some presentations, lots of the Parallax crew where there, we could take a peek at the facility, production, packing and meet a lot of very interesting people working there.
As a Muslim who should to go to Mecca once in his life, any Parallax fan should visit Rocklin. At least once. It is worth any minute.
I hope I do not anger any Monkeys by mention a religion.
So in short - if you are able to get there - do it. I am sure you will not regret it.
Enjoy!
Mike
Of course there will be Badges!
But it's different at Parallax, you have to learn how to burn... err, i mean solder...
Maybe Parallax could sell a simple P2 PCB signed by Chip (limited number)

Who wouldn't?
