Creating new tags

How? I wanted to add "badge" to tag posts related to the new badge product, but don't seem to have the ability.

@moderators,
Please add the new tag and update my other post with that tag.

    Just type Badge and hit enter. That creates a new tag.

    I tried that. As soon as I leave the textbox, the new tag disappears.

    Weird. When I edited the post, I was able to do as you suggested. The tag "badge" has been created.
