Alphanumeric Display driver

I remember that someone created an alphanumeric disp driver for the PPDB using shift registers. I tried to find it but couldnt. Does anyone have the info on that thread? Thanks.

Are you refering to an HD44780?

Or maybe the 7-segment LED displays on-board?

Its the alphanumeric leds on the Propeller Professional Development Board. I remember that someone made a modual that fit the PPDB that let people use the A/N led display without tying up alot of IO Pins, it used shift registers i think.
