That printer is nice. Not sure how it works, but very impressive to print metal at all.
My personal experience with 3d printing was more sad then nice.
As soon as them parts got bigger the a couple of inches there was a lot of warping. Eve simple parts like - say - a hub like in the parallax wheel kit where not printable in one piece. So print smaller parts and glue or screw them. PLA is quite strong, but gets brittle when in contact with sun light. ABS is more durable, but is sort of flexible and not as strong.
Overall I was quite disappointed. All this was at least 4 years ago (if not more) so maybe the situation has changed.
But building additive models with metal is quite interesting. Even if that printer might be way out of my budget.
