are there any 3d Printing Object files. I ordered a 3d Printer and it comes with the Arduino. Would like to use the prop and make our own 3d printers with prop boards..
As far as I know, we haven't yet made anything that has been successful for running 3D printers yet.
I know that some people were working on it here: http://forums.parallax.com/discussion/129448/prop-based-cnc-3d-printer
I don't believe they ended up succeeding, mostly due to lack of time. One option is to try and use prop-gcc and modify one of the open source gcode interpreters to work with your setup.
It has been noted that buying the electronics premade or at least pre-designed is probably cheaper and easier than attempting to do it on your own.
Hello
There is a guy ho make a system for a CNC machine, mayby you can use his stuff: http://members.home.nl/loekputs/
It looks very good and the connection to the PC is by a netwerkinterface.
Funny you posted this. I'm doing the exact same thing. I have a 3D printer now. I've been working on the inMOOV project lately, but it's such a long slow project that I'm looking for something smaller to do in between.
I dont want to do another rover robot, I've done plenty of those. Balancing robots look fun.
