Testing links: forum issue?

I've noticed two cases in the past couple days where links intended to go to an external site, reflected back to the page upon which they were written. So I'm trying to figure out the circumstances under which the forum software made that happen . . .

Both of these methods seem to work. However, the link in this user's sig does not.

I noticed that also. Jen's announcement of the ProtBoard had the same issue. I brought it up and she fixed it.

I also found the same with a new user inserting a "activity", ( I call it a Blog), this morning.

I call it a new issue.

OK, that was the other occurrence that I ran across this morning but could not find it.

That was the same prepended link that Jen's post had.
