I'm enjoying this work right now. For many of you, the concepts presented in this text will be old hat. I'm finding some gaps here and there filled, and some of the material is new to me. Examples in Python, which is just a nice doddle. And for me, an excuse to write some Python.
It's got a chapter on Von Newmann, but not Harvard called out specifically. Can't wait to read that. And the latter section on the hardness of problems is likely new and useful ground to me as well.
So far, I'm pleased. This is a great text for somebody getting into this stuff. IMHO, they will leave it with a basic competency hard to get in one place. Recommended.
