I noticed when I click on a photo in an old forum post, I get a bunch of strange characters.
Here's what the picture looks like from this post.

I'm going to paste the same photo here to compare how it behaves.
Apparently we can't just paste images into a post anymore. I'll try again.
When I used the "Image" tool, the following was inserted into the post:
{img}http://forums.parallax.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=88515&d=1326377858{/img}
When I select "edit" from the old post I can see the image inserted as:
{IMG}http://forums.parallax.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=88515&d=1326377858{/IMG}
The only difference I can see is the case of the "img" tags.
Edit: Apparently "noparse" isn't one of the BBCodes approved for use. I changed the square brackets to s-brackets.

I don't see the same results on WIN7 Chrome. I wish we had post numbers, but I think this is the same post you provide the offending picture from
With the added twist that the script on the page times out !

Duane, did you say you only saw this when trying to edit the post?
I see it when you I click on the image file. Both WIN7 and WIN XP PRO and Chrome.
I get the same behaviour if I'm not logged in.
I tried clicking on the image with IE8 on my Windows 7 machine and the image opened properly but as the only item in the window. It didn't open in the little picture viewer window.
Same behavior with WIN XP EI8.
The Android browser hangs. Must wait until the OS asks me if I want to kill the browser, and answer yes. That's very rare (that it doesn't ever return to the living).
Adding to the issues list and then sinking.
