Did you notice that when you get to the "Choose file" part. If you navigate to a directory and enter something like "*.js" it hangs up "Uploading" forever!

Have not tried a * search yet. Just using specific file names for now. I will try that though.

EDIT: Interesting, a BMP image is not embedded in the comments but opens in the same browser window.

I'm running out of file extensions.

So far, JPG, JPEG, GIFF and PNG images imbed in the comment, while TIFF and BMP do not.

MP3 files are limited to 2MB.

In Windows when I select the same, It just goes brain dead as it can not search at all, as in waiting for more input, but does not hang up.

Apparently .mp3 files weren't allowed in the old forum either. Mike Green had to upload Chip's "Seven" as a .txt file.

Trying a .sch file exported as .bmp. When the .bmp page appeared below the text area I hovered the mouse over the icon and then selected "insert image", hit the preview button and the image is now embedded in the post. Rather easy...

Probably this has been answered before, but how do I embed or attach a video? Obviously looking at other posts it is being done. Most of my iPhone videos are .mov format.

Due to size considerations, I suspect that videos have to be uploaded to youtube or vimeo first, with a link placed in your forum post.
