Hello everyone I'm new here and figured I need to get started on a project.
I am eager to build a 2 wheel balancing robot but before I design the PCB I wanted to know if you could suggest a PCB I could purchase that would potentially get me started in the right direction.
It would need to have a propeller, and preferably an accelerometer and or gyroscope already embedded on the PCB. I browsed Parallax.com and found this HoverflyOPEN to be close to what I need.
I'd also be interested in any available "kits" or "chassis + PCB's" specifically for 2 wheel balancing robots?
Thanks for you advice in advance.

I think you'd be much better off getting a Propeller Project Board.

I think these motors would work with a balancing bot.

I'd get the accelerometer and gyro from China.
I list a bunch of inexpensive sensors I like in this post:

Included in the list is the MPU-6050. These accelerometer/gyro combos only cost a few dollars and work amazingly well.
I'd suggest this h-bridge for the motors listed earlier.

It has a tutorial on how Hanno built his balancing Bot with a propeller. It does not provide a board, but does have schematics.
