Forum Issue: Highlighting foe Quoted Text is Gone

The light gray background for a quote used in a reply is gone, making it impossible to determine what is the quote, and what is the reply.

    Seemed to work here. Was all ready to back you on this one, since I had seen it elsewhere. Maybe it's being selective, but I'll hold off on that for a bit...

    Yes, seems to work here, and the last post I did.

    Can't find the common denominator, date of the latest fixes?

    It appears to have disappeared from quotes made prior to last night. Any quoting since the update seems to be fine.

    Edit: old quotes seems to be missing the following wrapper tags:

    <blockquote class="Quote UserQuote">
    <div class="QuoteAuthor"></div>
    <div class="QuoteText"></div>
    </blockquote>

    I inquired to Bump regarding this issue. His response:
    "In order to switch from Html to BBcode some Html elements were preserved, while others were lost. Regrettably this included the quote blocks."

    Unfortunately, the quotation highlighting missing from old posts will not be fixed. I apologize that it is likely to cause some confusion in older threads, but quoting should work as intended on anything new.

    This thread will now be sunk.
