Forum Issue: Addendum to sort order issue

I know that it's already known that threads default to votes, but I haven't seen anyone mention that although you can select date order, once you jump to the next page in multi-page threads, it goes back to vote order and there's no longer a button to change it back.
The workaround I'm using at the moment is manually appending "?Sort=date" to the URL and reloading.

I know there's always growing pains in any change like this. Been through it myself on a very small chat board I run. So I can be patient while things get smoothed out. But this sort order thing is almost a deal killer for me. Makes me not want to read anything until it's fixed. The P2 threads are quite long and just getting longer. I'm not familiar with this forum software, but in what I use, it's just a simple check box in the admin controls. Should be a quick easy fix. In any case, best wishes in getting things running right.

An alternative, until they change the default order (or remove voting altogether, as is the case with Vanilla's own forum), includes turning on session cookies only (they are not saved when the browser is closed).
I also run a script blocker, but parallax.com is whitelisted. Tried disabling it anyway. No joy.
Using Firefox 39 which is the current release.
Well, it'll be a moot point when someone finds that checkbox.
