SERVO Article by Our erco!

In the July 2015 edition of SERVO, the Parallax Forums own erco (aka Eric Ostendorff) has an article about... You guessed it! - Servos - to be more specific Analog Servos and topics related. Well worth your time - I always learn something AND wind up buying something - when I read anything erco shares!
Great job Pal!

Thanks for the shoutout, Padre! It's a pretty general article for beginners, probably not much new there for regular Forumistas (oops, do I now say Discussionistas?). Robin (SERVO editor) was interested in the curriculum I'm writing and this part was ready first, so off it went.  I did mention Parallax a few times (and this forum) and showed examples of Stamp and Spin (thanks Duane!) code. You can see ~4 pages about "the unsophisticated brutes of robotics" online a few times (?) at http://servo.texterity.com/servo/201507/?folio=68#pg68

Speaking of analog servos, here's a new one. I just got these bizarre servos off Ebay China: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2pcs-NEW-36g-SG5010-Servo-For-trex-align-600-RC-Helicopter-Plane-Boat-Car-E-/261941427261
Label reads AS3103PG analog servo as pictured, despite the title which reads SG5010. It operates like a regular servo (a bit slow), but there are no mechanical stops. You can spin it continuously by hand when off. Might be a good candidate for the continuous rotation hack, just disconnect or replace the pot.

Yes! I might even celebrate by giving into another "erco best-buy!"
