Forum not-an-issue: Sort by flag not set for visitors

I previously reported that the sorting flag was not working for guests (people not signed in). I was mistaken. I was testing using a separate browser that happened to be set to reject all cookies. It was the rejection of session cookies that was causing the problem. 
I (and some others) would still like to see the default changed to sorting by Date.

Many users disable cookies, so that still sounds like an issue to me.Also one that should be trivial to fix. - ie take FAR less time to fix, than the posts saying 'please fix'
